You’re in Great Hands
Ekaterina Derevleva
Ekaterina Derevleva is professional ballroom dancer, teacher and studio owner. She has Master Degree from Pedagogical University and also winner of many ballroom competitions in Russia.
After moving to the United States, she represented the USA in International Latin and International Ballroom divisions. Ekaterina won many USA competitions in both divisions, and have been US National Professional Ten Dance bronze medalist.
She is currently World Ten Dance finalist.
Ekaterina teaching all 4 styles of ballroom dancing at Ballroom Dance Academy in Jacksonville, FL and Sway with me dance studio as main coach, as well as traveling the US coach professional and pro/am dancers.
Lauren Hurley
Lauren is fantastic teacher for people who never danced before and for advanced dancers!!!
Inspired by the TV show "so you think you can dance" Lauren began her dance journey as a teenager. Not long after starting, she already knew that dance would become her life, so she dedicated herself to extensive self practice to prepare for teaching as well as competition.
She is also a manager of our Sway with me Wildwood location.
Wanting to take it a step further, she traveled across the ocean to find a dance partner. She ended up in Italy with her current dance partner, Adriano Camardese. Together they competed around Europe. In 2015 they moved to the States to continue teaching as well as competing.
They hope to pass along the same passion they share for dance to the world as well as inspire people to grow into the best versions of themselves!
Adriano Camardese
Adriano relocated to Wildwood SPECIAL for YOU! If you are just starting he is here to help! Of course he is certified teacher and ready to teach any level!
Adriano started his career at the age of 5 and has been dancing ever since.
Very dedicated to competition and performance, Adriano is able to blend the strong and athletic side of ballroom with the more delicate and artistic aspect of it.
Adriano has an extensive knowledge in International Latin, but in the last years his interest has shifted to the American Rhythm, nonetheless, he is certified in all four styles of dancing: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Latin and International Ballroom and many social dances.
We are confident in saying that his skills are perfect for advanced and beginner dancers.
Maurizio Conte
Originally from a small town outside of Naples, Italy, Maurizio believes in helping his students ‘Unleash the Dancer Within.’
With 12+ years of Ballroom and Latin dance experience, Maurizio holds the title of Italian National Latin Dance Champion in 2014. Throughout his career, he won 1st place in International Latin in over 20 competitions across Europe. He has competed in prestigious World Championships including the Blackpool Dance Festival, the UK Open, and the International Dance Championship. He was a Finalist in the Oporto Dance Festival in Portugal. Married to his dance partner, Caitlin Andersen, they together achieved the top in Professional Rising Star in Professional Events in the United States.
He teaches professionally and has a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Physical Activity from the University of Cassino. Ask him what he knows about combining weightlifting and dancing – you’ll see both in a whole new light!
By attaining a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from the University of Cassino in Italy, he deepened his understanding of the human body. Recognizing the difference weightlifting made to his dancing, allowed him to realize that so many of the negative beliefs he had about weightlifting in connection with dancing were not only false, but also shared by most dancers. He set out to dispel these false beliefs and spread his exciting insight with the rest of the world.
Maurizio then trained other professional dancers, helping them to elevate their dancing by building strength. The difference his methods made caused several of his clients to ask him to create a program they could participate in no matter where they were in the world and one they could share with their athletic friends.
His passion for connecting Fitness and Dance led him to the United States where his greatest fulfillment is seeing his students and clients live healthier, happier lives.
